Quorn Chicken and Vegetable Pie

Here is a recipe for an easy pie. Not only is it relatively quick and simple to make but it’s also packed with vegetables! There aren’t many ingredients to this pie so you can be healthy without having to spend too much money. Although I use Quorn chicken you can simply switch it with regular chicken if you prefer.

Ingredients

Total: £9.27

Method

  • Preheat the oven at 200°c
  • Chop up the pepper, mushroom and broccoli
  • Heat the oil in a pan and add the chicken
  • Add the broccoli and once it starts to soften add the pepper, spinach and mushrooms
  • Once it is all cooked, add the gravy and seasoning
  • Stir
  • Pour into an oven proof dish
  • Take the pastry and place on top of the dish
  • Cut away any excess pastry leaving a small amount around the edge
  • Tuck the ends down to stop the filling from bubbling out of the edges
  • Cut a cross in the centre
  • Place in the oven for around 15-20 minutes or until the pie is golden brown
  • Serve
